Every year, new states seem to be legalizing recreational marijuana. With only six US states remaining where cannabis is fully illegal (we’re looking at you, Tennessee!) one can only assume that more states will legalize medicinal and recreational cannabis over the next decade.
If you live in one of the fifteen states or D.C. where recreational weed is fully legal, congratulations!
With the movement to legalize weed forging forward, tons of cannabis-centered businesses have been popping up all over the place.
Some companies have started offering monthly subscription boxes for smoking supplies. Let’s take an in-depth look at one of them: Daily High Club.
What Is Daily High Club?
Whether you’re growing your own or heading to the dispensary regularly, we all know you need more than just the flower bud to have an ideal session.
Daily High Club is a subscription service that offers smoking supplies. A lot of times, you’re being overcharged for buying smoking supplies from your local convenience store. This service is attempting to offer high quality supplies at a reasonable price.
To be clear, this is not a weed subscription box. This is a box of supplies, not the product itself.
Operating out of Los Angeles, there are three different options you can sign up for.
All Natural
This monthly subscription says it’s “coming soon” on their website. If you’re just looking for the basics, this is the option for you. At an affordable $1 per month cost (plus shipping), this is a great way to ease into smoking.
In this package, you’ll receive all-natural papers, all-natural filter tips, organic bee wick, and a matchbook. If you’re ordering it outside of the US, there’s a $3.25 shipping fee.

Connoisseur V2
This is a great way to try out different products every month. For $19.99 a month, you’ll get all the essentials plus some extras. You’ll receive rolling papers, cleaning accessories, lighters, and more. You’ll receive 7-9 products each month that they say are curated by smoking experts.
If you’re ordering this option from Canada, it’ll be an extra $7 for shipping. Anywhere else in the world other than the US and Canada will cost $11 for shipping.
El Primo
This is touted as the best value out of their subscription offers. At $29.99 a month, the Daily High Club promises that you’ll receive $80 worth of product every time.
Along with the essentials, you’ll get a new piece of glass with each package. If you’re feeling creative, though, you could always make your own out of a mason jar.
If you’re ordering this option from Canada, it’ll be an extra $13 for shipping. Anywhere else in the world other than the US and Canada will cost $18 for shipping.
How to Cancel a Subscription
Their website claims that it’s easy to change or cancel your subscription at any time. You can do this through their website or by contacting their customer service team.
Can You Get a Refund?
Nothing in life is certain, and maybe you’ll end up being disappointed with your monthly subscription.
Daily High Club offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee, meaning that you can return unused items and get a refund within 14 days of delivery. You should be aware that this doesn’t include the shipping and handling costs.
If something arrives broken, you can send them a picture of the broken item.
How Long Does Shipping Take?
Shipping takes a bit longer than you might expect if you’re used to ordering from Amazon Prime.
If you’re ordering a subscription box, it might take up to 15 days to process and ship. For non-subscription boxes, it might take up to 5 days.
They don’t make any promises when it comes to how long it will take for your package to arrive once they ship it. With the mail being slowed down due to COVID-19, they simply tell you to check on the tracking history for your package as it moves closer to your destination.
Can You Get a Monthly Subscription Outside the US?
You can order a Daily High Club monthly subscription outside of the US. There are additional shipping charges which vary depending on whether you’re in Canada or another country.

Is Daily High Club Worth the Cost?
The answer to this question depends on what kind of smoker you are and how frequently you smoke. The El Primo definitely seems like the best value for what you get, but if you aren’t interested in building a glass collection then it won’t be worth the cost.
The pros of the Daily High Club is that the delivery is discreet and fairly fast, there’s a money back guarantee, and their subscription options are wide ranging for every type of smoker.
On the other hand, there are a few drawbacks to the Daily High Club. The first is that you don’t get to choose specific items, so you could end up with things that aren’t useful to you. The second is that if you order internationally the shipping can get expensive and take quite a bit of time.
Whether or not it makes sense for you to sign up for a subscription with Daily High Club depends on what your needs are. If you are a fairly minimalist, no-frills smoker, then your money might be better spent otherwise. If you delight in trying out new supplies, however, and find joy in receiving a fresh box every month, then there’s no reason not to give it a go.
Is It Time For You to Try a Monthly Subscription Box?
If you like the sound of Daily High Club but it’s not quite what you’re looking for, never fear. There are quite a few different monthly subscription services out there. Plus, with easy cancellation, there’s not reason not to try out a few to see which works best for you and your high.
